Serving is a vital part of church life at Wesley, reflecting our call to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world. Through mission work—both locally and globally—we share God’s love by caring for others, meeting needs, and working for justice and compassion. Whether through outreach projects, volunteer opportunities, or acts of kindness, every form of service helps build a more loving and faithful community.
Committee for Helping Others (CHO) is a non-profit organization in Vienna, serving the neighbors in need in the community.
A local food pantry works with Wesley to feed the children at Freedom Hill Elementary School through the Power Pack Program.
The Youth Mission Trip “Jeremiah Project” will be July 20 thru July 26, 2025 in Romney, WV. Youth students are welcome to join the mission trip to serve as hands and feet of Jesus Christ.
The Lamb Center is a daytime drop-in shelter for poor and individuals experiencing homelessness in the Fairfax area.
Second Story helps the life of families in the community in many different ways, such as Teen Shelter, Resource Center, and Shared Living. Wesley provides a meal once a month.
Shepherd’s Center is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the senior citizens in the community through supportive services.
Wesley participates in the Wounded Warrior Project to support the lives of veterans at Walter Reed Hospital.
As part of our mission work, the Wesley United Women in Faith (UWF) coordinates the Salvation Army Stocking Drive each year. You can pick up a stocking to fill with toys and gifts for children of all ages. It’s a fun and meaningful way to give back!
As God has been generous to us, Wesley wants to bless the community and the world with our generous giving and hearts. Wesley has a longstanding tradition of directing 100% of special offerings, including Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas offerings, toward missional causes.
