Nursery

Nursery care is available for infants through 4-year-olds during the 10:00 worship service. The Nursery is placed in Room 105 downstairs(below the Sanctuary). At least two background-checked nursery staff care for children.

Sunday School

All kids start in the sanctuary 10 AM worship. Sensory toys, coloring, bible story books are in the Narthex. After Children’s Message, kids go to Sunday School. Communion Sunday: kids return for Communion. Even in summer, Children’s Ministry continues!

Family Mission Opportunities

Wesley’s Annual Coat Drive: Each November, we collects donations of coats and sweaters for homeless and needy people in Northern Virginia.
Kits for Conference: Each June, we participates in assembling hygiene kits and flood buckets for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) to deliver to school children in need, both in the USA and abroad.
Rise Against Hunger: Wesley kids join in assembling nutritious meal packages for Rise Against Hunger, a global nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger and providing food to those in need.

Children's Fun Day - Sky Zone
Oct 18, 2026 | Sunday 11:15 am in Fellowship Hall

We invite families with children to have a blast! We’ll have pizza after the service in the Fellowship Hall and head to Sky Zone in Springfield by noon. Families will drive separately in their own vehicles. The cost is $20 per child. If you’d like to join us, please contact JC, Director of Children’s Ministry.

Fall Festival
Nov 25, 2026| Sunday 11:30 AM - 1 PM

Join us on Sunday, October 25 at 11:30 am-1 pm for Trunk or Treat, Petting Zoo, Texas Donuts, and more! Are you willing to decorate your car? Contact JC, children@wesleyvienna.org. Candy donations are welcome until October 18. Clean-up help will be appreciated after the event.

SEP 25, 2026 | Parents' Night Out

Last Friday, Wesley welcomed 19 children from 12 families for a fun Friday night! It was a wonderful opportunity to serve young families and connect with our community beyond the church. Thank you for all your dedication, prayers, and service!

Our next Parents’ Night Out is November 13, 2026. Save the date!

SEP 20, 2026 | Acolyte Training

Students in 2nd grade and older joined the Acolyte training to learn how to serve as acolytes. It was a great time to learn the names of the different items used in worship, the meaning of being an acolyte, and how acolytes serve during worship.

Our acolytes serve on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Please keep these children in your prayers as they grow in Christ by taking part in leading worship.

AUG 23, 2026 | Next Generation Sunday

Last Sunday, we celebrated Next Generation Sunday!

Our worship service was led by our children, youth, and Praise Team, and it was such a joy to see our younger generations sharing their gifts and leading us in worship. We were also blessed to hear from our Jeremiah Project Youth Mission Team as they shared their experiences, gratitude, and the love they experienced through their mission trip.

After worship, we continued the celebration with an Ice Cream Social and a fun Ping-Pong Tournament! Five children and five adults joined the tournament, and congratulations to Katie, who was crowned the Best Ping-Pong Player at Wesley!

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared your time, and made the day so special. We are grateful for a church family that grows, worships, serves, and celebrates together!

JUL 5, 2026 | VBS Sunday

VBS Sunday was a joyful celebration of an amazing 2026 VBS! We sang our favorite VBS songs, heard participants share their experiences, walked through the rooms where children learned about God, and even enjoyed VBS snacks after worship. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special celebration!

We also enjoyed a sweet piece of cake together as we celebrated America's 250th birthday with our church family.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came back on Sunday afternoon and Monday to help take down the VBS decorations. Your sweet hearts and generous willingness to help made a tremendous difference. We are so grateful for each of you!

JUN 7, 2026 | Graduation Sunday

We recognized our 2026 graduates! We are so proud to bless and celebrate their hard work, achievements, and accomplishments with prayers and special gifts.

After the service, we wrap up the 2025-2026 school year! Our children and youth families came together for an incredible End of Year Celebration. We had 30 wonderful people from 7 families join in on the fun, making it the lunch time of laughter and connection.

The energy was high with a moon bounce, ping-pong matches, games, and plenty of delicious pizza! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and make the day so special. Wishing everyone a fantastic and safe summer ahead!

MAY 17, 2026 | Sunday 10 am Service

Children’s Special Song was a wonderful way to praise the Lord! For the past few weeks, children have been practicing the song’s motions and presented it to the congregation. We are grateful to all the children who joined us in singing this special song.

MAY 15, 2026 | Parents' Night Out

Parents’ Night Out welcomed 29 kids from 12 families and had lots of fun at Wesley. We appreciate the staff and volunteers who supported and helped that night! The next Parents’ Night Out is on Friday, September 25. Save the date!
