Children

Nursery

Nursery care is available for infants through 3-year-olds during the 10:00 worship service. The Nursery is placed in Room 105 downstairs(below the Sanctuary). At least two background-checked nursery staff care for children.

Sunday School

All kids start in the sanctuary 10 AM worship. Sensory toys, coloring, bible story books are in the Narthex. After Children’s Message, kids go to Sunday School. Communion Sunday: kids return for Communion. Even in summer, Children’s Ministry continues!

Summer Sunday School

This summer, we’re inviting all the kids to join our 5-week summer Sunday school, running from July 19 to August 16! We’ll be having artistic, playful, and craft-filled Sundays to explore God’s word and love.

Family Mission Opportunities

Wesley’s Annual Coat Drive: Each November, we collects donations of coats and sweaters for homeless and needy people in Northern Virginia.
Kits for Conference: Each June, we participates in assembling hygiene kits and flood buckets for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) to deliver to school children in need, both in the USA and abroad.
Rise Against Hunger: Wesley kids join in assembling nutritious meal packages for Rise Against Hunger, a global nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger and providing food to those in need.

JUN 7, 2026 | Graduation Sunday

We recognized our 2026 graduates! We are so proud to bless and celebrate their hard work, achievements, and accomplishments with prayers and special gifts.

After the service, we wrap up the 2025-2026 school year! Our children and youth families came together for an incredible End of Year Celebration. We had 30 wonderful people from 7 families join in on the fun, making it the lunch time of laughter and connection.

The energy was high with a moon bounce, ping-pong matches, games, and plenty of delicious pizza! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and make the day so special. Wishing everyone a fantastic and safe summer ahead!

MAY 17, 2026 | Sunday 10 am Service

Children’s Special Song was a wonderful way to praise the Lord! For the past few weeks, children have been practicing the song’s motions and presented it to the congregation. We are grateful to all the children who joined us in singing this special song.

MAY 15, 2026 | Parents' Night Out

Parents’ Night Out welcomed 29 kids from 12 families and had lots of fun at Wesley. We appreciate the staff and volunteers who supported and helped that night! The next Parents’ Night Out is on Friday, September 25. Save the date!
