Senior Adult

This season of life brings with it both deep wisdom and unique challenges—and our Senior Adult Gathering is a space to walk that journey together. Rooted in fellowship and faith, this group offers a place to reflect on God's faithfulness, grow deeper in spiritual maturity, and find support through life's ongoing changes.

Whether you are navigating retirement, health changes, loss, or simply seeking community, you are not alone. Together, we seek God’s guidance, share our stories, and encourage one another to finish well in the faith. Come be refreshed, renewed, and reminded of God’s enduring presence in every season.

Since March 2023, our senior group has been creating wonderful memories together. We've explored the beauty of Meadowlark Botanical Garden, enjoyed a sightseeing cruise on the Potomac River, and delved into the rich history at The National Museum of the U.S. Army. We've learned about aging and mental health, nutrition science, decluttering, and cybersecurity.

The group gathers on the third Wednesday of the odd month, except July. Gathering dates for the rest of the year 2025 are: May 21, September 17, and November 19.

A mentoring session on how to maximize market response and minimize your stress. Topics include how to prep your home, which repairs to make, which NOT to make, and when to sell As-Is. Lisa Korade has 26+ years experience and is the Managing Broker for KW McLean, the #1 luxury r/e office in our area. She and her husband, Brett Korade, also run the LAB Realty Group delivering highly personal service. Free community event, followed by a light lunch.

Shopping lists, tax documents, medical info, and even your kid's treasured drawings - The daily flow of paper can be overwhelming! In this relatable, amusing, and informative session, we will discuss different organization tips and techniques to sort, file, toss, and finally TAME the paperwork beast. Free community event, followed by a potluck lunch.
